Aliya Salmanova
Aliya Salmanova is a film scoring composer currently residing in Manhattan, New York. She is attending the NYU Screen Scoring undergraduate program. She has studied with such composers as Missy Mazzoli, David Little, and Alba Torremocha. She has also studied music theory and piano performance in Baku, Azerbaijan, where she lived for a few years.

Aliya Salmanova was a chosen participant for Luna Composition Lab 2018 and Opera Omaha Music and Poetry Workshop 2019. Her compositions have been performed at major concert halls such as ROULETTE and NATIONAL SAWDUST in New York, and KANEKO, in Omaha. She was also a member of the X QABALA INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL 2018 and has performed at many concerts and festivals in Baku, Azerbaijan.
